Bayshore & Haiti Donation

The devastating effects of the earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12 have resulted in

a world wide response...and of course Windsorites answered the call as well...In the february issue of Biz X you will see a few examples of companies pitching in to help..

but there is one more I need to mention..I received the information after our print deadline but I still wanted to tell our readers out it..so I am using my blog now to do so..

To assist in this effort to help the people of Haiti, Bayshore Home Health’s National Service Centre (NSC)will match donations raised by branches by February 5 and donate funds to World Vision.

World Vision is a leader in disaster relief and emergency aid. Bayshore conducted a similar

effort with World Vision in 2005, for Tsunami relief.

Donations can be made a number of ways:

•A personal cheque made payable to World Vision and delivered to your local branch by February 5. NSC will accumulate all donations, match them and forward the total amount to World Vision.

•Cash donations are being collected at some branches in donations jars.

Please check with your branch if it is raising donations in this manner. All money collected will be forwarded to NSC by February 5. NSC will match these donations and forward total amount to World Vision.

•If you wish to receive a tax receipt for your donation, you can make an online

donation at www.worldvision.ca

. Please provide a copy of your donation acknowledgement to your branch by February 5, who will forward it to NSC, match it and forward the total amount to World Vision

In addition, all money donated to relief agencies such as World Vision by February 12 will be matched
by the Canadian government, thereby doubling Bayshore’s overall donation.
