“We are thrilled, excited and proud to be associated with this unbelievably talented threesome,” says Tom Awad, president of Sport Fest Windsor. This is the first prestigious concert being performed by these three professionals in support of organ and tissue donation awareness, and we are looking forward to a full house “This type of exposure
will hopefully
encourage people to register their consent as an organ and tissue
donor online at www.BeAdonor.ca/SportFestWindsor-org”.
Gregory Butler explained, "For a number of years, many have asked David Palmer and myself if we would
ever perform a Christmas special for piano and organ. Despite a number of almost situations,
it is finally happening this year on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at All Saints Church at 7
pm with a reception to follow in the church hall. Not only have we found the time to do this but All Saints has graciously provided the space, Bob Ouellette the piano, and Roger and Tom Awad of Sport Fest Windsor have agreed to produce this concert. Sport Fest is the main fundraiser for organ donation in Windsor-Essex County
and, in the hopes of selling this out, will carry the burden of expenses and, hopefully, raise considerable dollars for
organ donation awareness. On top of all these wonderful components, Alexander Zonjic has agreed to be our special guest artist. The music will be nothing but very accessible Christmas and seasonal music, so it should be a truly meaningful
program“.
