June 2012 marks the debut of Carrousel’s Culinary Explosion Pavilion – featuring exciting cooking demonstrations and challenges highlighting different world cuisines and local ingredients.  Headliners - Chef David Rocco on June 9^th  at 5 pm, host of David Rocco’s Dolce Vita on the Food Network, and Chef Christine Cushing on June 10^th at 3 pm, host of "Fearless in the Kitchen" on OWN, will tempt our palettes with savory smells with live cooking demonstrations. Pick up Greek and Italian cooking tips to incorporate into your kitchen or simply enjoy the culinary prowess as these two Top Chefs. Reserved seating and an exclusive meet and greet with the Chef is available for only $20.

For the rest of the weekend, enjoy local Chefs’ demonstrations and challenges highlighting world cuisines using local ingredients.  There is also a “culinary salon” featuring rotating local chefs throughout Saturday and Sunday and special pasta making workshops in the Children’s Village.
