The Harrow Colchester Chamber of Commerce is kicking off the first of a planned series of “Partners in Progress” events with key-note speaker Glenn Wickert, Station Manager for WestJet Airlines in London and Windsor.  Known for motivating his audience, Glenn will use the WestJet success story to demonstrate how focusing on customer service and employee engagement are key to growing a dynamic business.  Mr. Wickert has been Station Manager for WestJet in London since 2002 and is currently Vice President of the Board of Directors for Tourism London.

Chamber President Murdo McLean says:  “bringing Glenn to Harrow is a great opportunity for our membership and businesses in the entire region to learn from one of Canada’s most successful companies.  The focus on customer service and employee engagement are key in the growing tourism sector which is spurring retail and development interest in the Harrow-Colchester region.  Glenn’s message will be clear; regardless of a company’s size, successful growth can be accomplished by focusing on vision and direction.”

Partners in Progress will take place at Oxley Estate Winery on September 24th starting at 5:30 with hors d’oeuvres and networking.  Cost is $10.

Seating is limited and because an early sell-out is expected, reservations can only be accepted until September 17th by emailing djmarontate@bell.net
